The short version. The label files you open are read and cropped inside your own browser. They are never uploaded, never stored on a server, and we never see them. We do not ask you to make an account.
Three things do collect data: the company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, the advertising on this page sets cookies, and we count visits. Some of that measurement sets cookies. All of it is explained below.
Relabely is a free web tool that converts shipping labels into 4 by 6 pages for thermal printers. It is operated by Relabely Inc, and in this notice "we" and "us" mean that operator.

This is the most important thing in this notice, so it comes first.
When you drop a PDF or an image into Relabely, the file is opened by your own web browser. Your browser reads the page, works out where the shipping label sits on it, crops it, and builds a new PDF. All of that happens on your computer or phone, using code that was sent to you along with the page. The file is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
This matters because a shipping label carries a real person's name and street address, and often a tracking number as well. Uploading that to a stranger's server to crop an image would be a poor trade. We built the tool so the question never arises.
When you close or reload the tab, everything you loaded is discarded from memory. We keep no copy of a file, an address, a tracking number, or a converted label, because none of it ever reaches us.

| Visitor statistics | We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other sites. | Labels generated | When you download a print file or open the print dialog, the site sends a short count: how many files you converted, how many labels came out, which of three broad layouts was used, and which marketplace the label came from, taken from a fixed list of names. That is the entire message. It contains no filename, no label contents, no name, no address, no tracking number, no order number, no cookie, and nothing that identifies you or your device. The marketplace is worked out inside your browser and only that single word is sent. Your browser also remembers the time it last converted something, stored on your own device, so that a fresh visit after a break is counted separately from a batch that is still in progress. Only a yes or no is ever transmitted from that. The time itself never leaves your device, and no identifier is created or stored at any point. Relabely is free to use and is paid for by the advertising on this page. Ads are supplied by Google, acting as a third party vendor.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set. You can accept, refuse, or set your preferences, and you can change your choice later through the same message.
Where we rely on consent, that is the legal basis for setting advertising cookies. Where we rely on legitimate interests, that covers keeping the site online, serving the page you asked for, and defending against abuse, using the server logs described above.
Because we hold no accounts and receive none of your files, there is usually very little information for a request to reach. The main exception is server log data held by our hosting provider, and the advertising data held by Google.
Your label files are not retained at all, because they are never received.
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for its standard retention period, which is typically a short number of weeks, and are used to operate and protect the site.
Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies, which are linked in section 4.
The site is served from a content delivery network with servers in many countries, so the page itself may be delivered to you from a server outside your own country. Google operates globally and may process advertising data outside your country. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, those transfers rely on the safeguards the relevant provider has put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Relabely is a tool for people running a shipping operation. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, write to info@relabely.com and we will look into it.
The site is served over HTTPS, so the page and its code arrive encrypted. Because your label files never travel across the network, they are not exposed to interception in transit by us.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the parts of the service that do involve third parties, such as hosting and advertising.
If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Significant changes will be described at the top of the page for a reasonable period. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated notice.
